Education

CME and CEU:

Our comprehensive continuing education programs are designed for healthcare professionals and fitness experts alike. Healthcare providers can earn ACCME Category 1 CME credits through our specialized courses, focusing on lifestyle medicine, preventive care, and functional fitness integration. Our CEU credits are approved for various specialties including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and registered dietitians. These educational offerings bridge the gap between traditional medical education and practical fitness application, ensuring our providers and coaches stay at the forefront of community-based healthcare delivery.

Connections

Referrals:

Building strong referral networks between healthcare providers and CrossFit affiliates creates a sustainable ecosystem for patient care. When providers partner with local affiliates, they establish trusted channels for delivering lifestyle interventions, movement coaching, and community support. These organic connections enable healthcare providers to prescribe exercise with confidence, knowing their patients will receive qualified coaching and consistent follow-up. Affiliates benefit by receiving medically-referred clients while gaining the ability to escalate health concerns to trusted providers who understand the CrossFit methodology. This collaborative approach ensures patients receive comprehensive care that addresses both acute medical needs and long-term lifestyle modification, all within a supportive community environment.

CommunityCare:

CFMS providers are the first line of referral for CommunityCare members seeking healthcare services. When a member needs medical attention, their CommunityCare advocate consults the CFMS Directory to identify qualified providers who understand the CrossFit methodology and community-based approach to health. These advocates work directly on behalf of members, reaching out to CFMS providers to facilitate appointments and ensure seamless care coordination. This direct connection between CommunityCare advocates and CFMS providers creates a streamlined experience for members while maintaining the high standard of care that aligns with our integrated fitness and medical approach.
